Château de la Villedieu is a stunning château erected in the gothic revival style in the sunny region of Charente in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.
The current château rest on the foundations of an older castle, of which the vast cellars, one of the towers, a gate with sentry lions and a flamboyant original gothic portal are still intact.
In 2022 the château was acquired by an ideal organisation to restore it and its gardens to former glory. On this website you will find restoration updates, tidbits from château life, sale of château souvenirs (all of which goes towards restoration of the château), the opportunity to become a support member (Seigneur/Seigneuresse de Château de la Villedieu) as well as booking information for our holiday flat. All income goes towards restoration.
